The 100th Ryder Cup arrives in Ireland — September 2027.
A once-in-a-generation pilgrimage to Adare Manor, the Wild Atlantic Way, and the most spectacular stretch of links golf on earth. Custom Ireland travel packages designed entirely around you.
- Event: The 100th Ryder Cup, contested between Team Europe and Team USA.
- Dates: September 13–19, 2027 (competition Sept 17–19).
- Venue: Adare Manor, Adare, County Limerick, Ireland.
- Captains: Luke Donald (Europe) · Jim Furyk (USA).
- Juniper's role: We build fully custom Ireland travel packages around the Cup — lodging, transfers, links golf, fine dining, non-golfer experiences. We are a travel company, not a ticket broker; tickets are purchased separately through official Ryder Cup channels.
- Recommended booking window: 2026, before lodging across Limerick, Adare, and Killarney is fully spoken for.
The Ryder Cup has been contested, in some form, since 1927. In 2027 it will arrive in Adare — a single, thatched-roof village in County Limerick, perched on the River Maigue between the Atlantic and the Shannon Estuary. For three days the eyes of the sporting world will fall on the most extraordinary parkland golf course in Europe, and for one week the southwest of Ireland will become the most coveted travel destination on earth.
This guide is for the American traveler who refuses to do it from a coach bus. Who wants to see Friday's foursomes and play Ballybunion at dawn. Who wants their spouse to fall in love with Killarney while they're watching Rory hit a flop shot at the 17th. Who understands that the Ryder Cup is the centerpiece, not the entire trip.
At Juniper Tours, we don't sell ticket packages. We don't sell shuttles. We are a travel company — and we build the trip from scratch. You handle the match tickets through official Ryder Cup channels; we handle absolutely everything else. You dream it. We book it.
A trip you will tell your grandchildren about.
Three reasons the 2027 Ryder Cup is different from any other — and why even casual golf fans are quietly canceling other 2027 plans.
First, it is the 100th Ryder Cup. Centennial editions of major sporting events become permanent fixtures of the historical record. The pageantry, broadcast production, and on-course experience will be unlike anything the tournament has staged before.
Second, Ireland has only hosted the Cup once in its history. The K Club in County Kildare welcomed it in 2006, and Europe waltzed to an 18½–9½ rout. More than two decades will have passed before the matches return — and even then, only because Irish billionaire J.P. McManus quietly rebuilt Adare Manor from the ground up to make it possible.
Third, Team USA has not won a Ryder Cup on foreign soil since 1993. Thirty-four years. Jim Furyk and his American side will walk into one of the loudest, most pro-European environments in modern sport. For an American fan, there is no more electric way to experience the game.
The kind of golf course you want to play forever.— Tom Watson, on Ballybunion Old Course, ninety minutes from Adare
The course that rewrote Irish golf.
Adare Manor's transformation from regional resort to world-class championship venue is one of modern golf's most ambitious construction stories.
Adare Manor sits on a 19th-century neo-Gothic estate straddling the River Maigue. The original course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1995, was beloved and well-regarded — but in 2015, Limerick businessman J.P. McManus purchased the estate for an estimated €30 million and commissioned a complete, ground-up rebuild.
He hired Tom Fazio — the American architect who has overseen Augusta National's evolution since 1998 — and turned him loose. Fazio retained the original routing but rebuilt every green, tee, and bunker from scratch. More than 220,000 tonnes of sand were imported to rebuild the drainage, ensuring the course plays firm and fast even after Irish rain.
The result is a 7,509-yard parkland that has already passed its dress rehearsal — the 2022 JP McManus Pro-Am — with flying colors. In 2027, it becomes only the second course in Irish history to host the Ryder Cup.
Donald vs. Furyk: a captain's duel.
Two of golf's most respected figures, with two of the most fascinating storylines in the modern game.
Luke Donald returns as Europe's captain for a historic third consecutive time — the first man to do so since Bernard Gallacher. Donald never lost a Ryder Cup as a player and is now 2–0 as captain, with victories in Rome in 2023 and at Bethpage Black in 2025. If Europe wins at Adare, he becomes the first captain in history to win three consecutive Cups.
Jim Furyk takes the reins for Team USA, his second stint after Le Golf National in 2018. A 17-time PGA Tour winner and the 2003 U.S. Open champion, Furyk has already begun his Adare education — he was recently a guest of J.P. McManus at a Limerick hurling match — and has named Justin Leonard and Stewart Cink among his assistant captains. The Americans haven't won abroad in over three decades. Furyk is the man tasked with changing that.
You dream it. We book it.
Why a Juniper Tours trip is the opposite of a package.
Most Ryder Cup operators sell you a box. A hotel, a shuttle, a ticket, a logo polo — identical for everyone who buys one. Juniper Tours is a travel company, not a ticket broker. Match tickets are purchased separately by you through official Ryder Cup channels. We handle every other part of the trip — and we build it from a blank page.
Ireland is our home turf. We've spent years cultivating relationships with the country houses, Michelin restaurants, private drivers, boutique hotels, and bucket-list golf clubs across Limerick, Killarney, Adare Village, Dublin, and the Wild Atlantic Way. When you tell us what your dream Ryder Cup trip looks like, we don't reach for a catalog. We pick up the phone. That is the Juniper custom travel philosophy — and it is the approach behind every Ryder Cup trip we are already booking for 2027.
A few of the trips we are already building for 2027:
An eight-night foursome with four rounds of links golf, three Cup days on the grounds at Adare, and a black-tie dinner at Ashford Castle. A fourteen-day couple's itinerary where one spouse follows the matches while the other does a private cooking class in Kinsale and a guided walk along the Cliffs of Moher. A twelve-person corporate retreat with chartered transport, fine dining around the Cup days, and a Guinness Storehouse buyout in Dublin. A father-and-sons pilgrimage through Ballybunion, Lahinch, Adare, and a Galway pub crawl.
Each one different. Each one ours. Each one built around the actual humans on the trip.

The Ryder Cup is the centerpiece — not the entire trip.— The Juniper Doctrine
The seven courses worth crossing an ocean for.
Within ninety minutes of Adare Manor sits the densest concentration of world-class links golf on earth. Juniper Tours arranges tee times, transfers, and caddies.
Ballybunion · Old Course
Tom Watson called it "the kind of golf course you want to play forever." Towering dunes, Atlantic views, and a back nine that ranks among the finest in the world.
Lahinch Golf Club
Host of the 2019 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and bearing the imprint of Old Tom Morris himself. The crown jewel of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Tralee Golf Club
Arnold Palmer's first European links design. Perched dramatically above the Atlantic on the Dingle Peninsula's northern coast.
Waterville Golf Links
A favorite of Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara, and Payne Stewart — used as a tune-up for The Open Championship for decades.
Doonbeg
Greg Norman's dramatic clifftop layout, set among some of the most photographed dunes in Ireland.
Old Head of Kinsale
Built on a 220-foot promontory jutting into the Atlantic. Nine holes play along sheer cliffs. Quite literally unforgettable.
Portmarnock
The classic Dublin links — pure, unadorned, brutal in the wind. The ideal opener or closer on a Dublin transit night.
Adare Manor Itself
If we can arrange it — and we often can — there is no more poetic round than a private hour on the very course about to host the Cup.
For the non-golfer in your party.
A Juniper Ryder Cup trip is never a punishment for the partner who'd rather walk a cliff than a fairway. The southwest of Ireland is, frankly, more famous for its scenery than its golf.
The Cliffs of Moher
One of the most photographed natural sights in Europe. We arrange private morning timings before the coaches arrive.
The Ring of Kerry
Mountains, lakes, jaunting cars, and the Gap of Dunloe boat-and-pony tour. Killarney itself is among Ireland's most beloved small towns.
The Dingle Peninsula
Coastal driving that rivals anything in Italy or California. Pottery studios, sheepdog demonstrations, Murphy's ice cream, Dick Mack's pub.
Adare Manor Destination Spa
A private spa day on the estate itself — frequently while the rest of the party is on the course. Quietly one of the best spas in Europe.
Private Cooking Classes
Hands-on classes with celebrated Irish chefs in two of the country's defining food regions.
Whiskey & Distillery Tours
Private tastings at three of Ireland's most respected distilleries, with optional master-blender experiences.
Adare Village
Often called Ireland's prettiest village. Thatched cottages, boutique shopping, and a 13th-century friary within walking distance of the Manor.
Falconry & Equestrian
Falconry, archery, and private equestrian sessions on the Adare grounds themselves — bookable in 90-minute blocks.
One example. Ten days through Ireland's heart.
Every Juniper itinerary is built from a blank page. This is one of many shapes a great Ryder Cup trip can take.
Arrive Dublin
Private transfer from DUB to a Georgian boutique hotel. Welcome dinner in the seafront village of Howth.
A day in Dublin
Trinity College and the Book of Kells. A private guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse. An evening of traditional music in Temple Bar.
South through the Wicklow Mountains
Glendalough monastic site. Lunch in medieval Kilkenny. Overnight at Mount Juliet Estate with an optional afternoon round.
Cross to Adare
Tee time at Ballybunion Old Course en route. Check into a private cottage in Adare Village.
Practice rounds at Adare Manor
Watch the teams on the range and walk the front nine in shirtsleeves. Companions head to the Cliffs of Moher with a private guide.
Foursomes & Fourballs
Day one of competition. Black-tie dinner reservation that evening at a Michelin-recommended restaurant in Limerick.
Saturday at Adare
Companions take a private Ring of Kerry day with a Juniper driver-guide. Late-night supper back at the cottage.
Singles Sunday
The match concludes. Group dinner at Adare Manor's Oak Room.
Killarney & the Dingle Peninsula
Decompress with a slow, scenic day along Ireland's most beautiful coastline. Overnight in Killarney.
Depart from Shannon
Private transfer to SNN. A short, civilized flight home.
Why the right time to book is now.
A hard truth about Ireland's southwest in September 2027.
Adare Manor itself is small. The village of Adare has a fraction of the lodging capacity of, say, Augusta during the Masters. Hospitality providers and corporate sponsors lock in hotel inventory across Limerick, Adare Village, Killarney, and Shannon years in advance.
By the time general tickets open in 2027, the rooms, the private drivers, the bucket-list tee times at Ballybunion and Lahinch, the Michelin reservations — all of it will already be spoken for, or repriced. The travelers who book in 2026 will get exactly what they want. The travelers who wait will get whatever is left.
Juniper Tours has held back inventory specifically for our custom clients. Lock in your trip now. We will build the rest at your pace.
The questions everyone asks first.
A frequently-asked-questions section, in the editorial tradition.
When and where is the 2027 Ryder Cup?
The 2027 Ryder Cup will take place at Adare Manor in Limerick, Ireland. Build-up days run Monday, September 13 through Thursday, September 16, 2027. Competition is held Friday, September 17 through Sunday, September 19, 2027. It is the 100th edition of the tournament.
Who are the captains?
Luke Donald will captain Team Europe for a historic third consecutive time. Jim Furyk will captain Team USA — his second stint, after Le Golf National in 2018.
Does Juniper Tours sell Ryder Cup tickets?
No. Juniper Tours is a travel company, not a ticket broker. Match tickets are purchased separately by you through official Ryder Cup channels. We design and book every other part of your Ireland trip — lodging, private transfers, links golf, restaurant reservations, non-golfer experiences, and pre and post-Cup itineraries. We're happy to advise on the official ticket process and build your trip around the dates you secure.
How does a custom Juniper Tours Ryder Cup trip work?
Book a free consultation, tell us what your dream trip looks like — group size, dates, golf rounds, non-golfer experiences, pace — and we'll deliver a custom Ireland itinerary within 48 hours. You handle the tournament tickets. We handle everything else.
What other Irish golf courses can I play around the Ryder Cup?
Within easy reach of Adare you can play Ballybunion, Lahinch, Tralee, Waterville, Doonbeg, Old Head of Kinsale, and Portmarnock. Juniper Tours arranges tee times, transfers, and caddies.
What is there to do for non-golfer companions?
The Cliffs of Moher, Killarney National Park, the Dingle Peninsula, the Wild Atlantic Way, Bunratty Castle, Limerick's medieval quarter, and the Adare Manor spa are all within easy reach. We build parallel itineraries so golfers and non-golfers each get their dream trip.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible — ideally in 2026. Hotel inventory across Limerick, Adare Village, Killarney, and Shannon is already being held by hospitality providers, and prices climb as availability tightens.
Has Ireland hosted the Ryder Cup before?
Yes, once — at The K Club in County Kildare in 2006, where Europe won 18½–9½. The 2027 contest at Adare Manor will be Ireland's second time hosting, and the 100th edition of the Cup overall.
Which airport should I fly into?
Shannon (SNN) is the closest — about 30 minutes from Adare Manor. Dublin (DUB) is roughly 2.5 hours by road but offers more direct flights from the U.S. We typically route clients in through one and out the other to maximize the trip's geographic coverage.
What's the weather like in Ireland in September?
Mid-September in the southwest of Ireland averages 55–65°F with mixed sunshine and showers. Layers, a waterproof shell, and proper golf rain gear are essential. Conditions shift quickly along the Wild Atlantic Way — part of what makes Irish golf, Irish golf.
How much does a custom Ryder Cup 2027 trip cost?
Every Juniper trip is fully custom, so pricing varies with group size, trip length, lodging tier, and chosen experiences. Most clients budget a meaningful per-person investment for this once-in-a-generation trip. Book a free consultation and we'll build a transparent custom quote.
